Cottrell Country Farm is starting a small pear orchard. In 2025 we planted our first three Moon Glow pear trees. If these are successful, we will be adding three more threes each year of a different variety of pears. While this is a long term project, it will reap benefits in the future. Currently, Cottrell Country Farm offers pears for sale at the Hillsboro, TX Farmers Market, through a relationship we have with neighbors who have a pear orchard. In the future, we hope to harvest our own pears. Moon Glow are a great variety of pear. We have sold this variety at the farmers market for two years now. We hope that expanding into fruits, besides the current produce we grow, will give our customers more choices. We hope to see you at the farmers market.
