The Hillsboro, Texas Farmers Market will open for the 2025 season on 3 May. Cottrell Country Farm will be there for the entire season. It’s still early in the season, but already we have much of our produce planted. Even though we’ve had a dry March, the national Agriculture TV show predicts a wet April. Let’s hope so, because they also predict above normal temperatures. Here are just a few of the items we will be initially offering: cabbage, green beans, and yellow squash. Besides our farm fresh produce, we will also be selling all our normal canned goods (barbecue sauces, zucchini pickles, jams, just to name a few), as well as our delicious homemade breads. We hope to see you at the market for a great 2025 season.
