Coming soon! While they are not quite ready yet, out pumpkins and butternut squash will soon be ready and for sale. Due to the ongoing August triple digit days late in the month, Cottrell Country Farm was late planting the fall crop this year. However with the mild fall weather we’ve had to date, planting late really had no ill effect. It’s November and frost is not yet predicted in the forecast. One year, I was picking tomatoes up till the middle of December. Looks like this might be a similar year. Besides pumpkins and butternut squash, we also planted black eyed peas, green beans, cabbage, and beets for the fall crop. When the pumpkins and squash are ready for sale, I’ll update the webpage to notify all who may be interested.
